Terms of Service
1. What you are buying
ECHOLIO sells digital self-knowledge readings. A reading is a written document generated from a birth date you provide, delivered as an on-screen report that you can read, print or save as PDF. Nothing is shipped.
We offer three products: a single-person reading, a two-person harmony reading, and an annual membership that includes the readings described on the pricing page. Case studies published on this site are free to read and do not require a purchase.
A reading is a tool for self-reflection and conversation. It is not medical care, psychological treatment, diagnosis, financial or legal advice, and it does not predict future events. If you are in distress or need clinical support, please contact a licensed professional in your area.
2. Prices, billing and renewal
Current prices in US dollars: single-person reading $9.90, two-person harmony reading $19.90, annual membership $199.00 per year. The price shown on the pricing page and at checkout is the price that applies to your order.
Single readings and two-person readings are one-time purchases. You are charged once and nothing recurs.
The annual membership is billed once for a twelve-month term. It is a one-time annual charge and does not auto-renew: when the term ends, access ends unless you choose to buy again. We will not charge your payment method again without a new order from you.
Payments are processed by our payment provider and its underlying card networks and wallets. We never see or store your full card number. Currency conversion or cross-border fees charged by your bank are outside our control.
3. Refunds and cancellation
If a reading is not what you expected, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund that order. Write to the support address at the end of this page and include the email you used at checkout.
Because a reading is generated and delivered immediately, we may decline a refund where the report has been substantially used, where the same order has already been refunded once, or where the request shows a pattern of repeated purchase-and-refund.
You may stop using the service at any time. Cancelling means you will not place further orders; it does not retroactively cancel a completed one-time purchase. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
4. Your account
You can sign in with an email address and password, or with Google. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
You may change your password at any time from your account page. If you forget it, you can reset it with a verification code sent to your email address. Use accurate information: an account registered with an email you do not control may be inaccessible to you later.
One account is for one person. Do not share access, resell readings, or use a single account to distribute reports to third parties.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. This includes attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours, probing or disrupting our infrastructure, scraping or bulk-downloading content, reverse-engineering the generation pipeline, uploading unlawful material, or using the service to harass another person.
Readings describe patterns for reflection. You may not present a reading as a professional assessment of another person, as a medical or psychological opinion, or as a basis for decisions about that person's employment, credit, housing, insurance or legal status.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. The service is written for adults; if you are under 18, use it together with a parent or guardian.
6. Breach, suspension and termination
If you breach these terms — for example by misusing the service, submitting false information, infringing someone else's rights, attempting to defraud us or a payment provider, or charging back an order you received — we may take proportionate action. Depending on severity, that action may be a warning, removal of specific content, a temporary restriction of features, suspension of the account, or termination of the account.
Where the breach is serious, repeated, or exposes other users or our payment partners to harm, we may suspend or terminate immediately without prior warning. Where it is minor and remediable, we will normally give you notice and a reasonable chance to fix it.
If we terminate your account for breach, access to readings generated under that account ends. Orders already delivered are not automatically refunded, but we will still consider a refund where the law requires it or where the breach did not relate to that order.
You may close your account at any time by writing to the support address. On closure we delete or anonymise your personal data as described in the privacy policy, except records we must keep for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes. Those records are retained only as long as the applicable retention period requires.
7. Content and ownership
The text, design, code and branding of this site belong to ECHOLIO. The reading we generate for you is for your own personal use: you may read it, print it, and share it privately with the people it concerns.
You may not republish a reading commercially, resell it, or present it as your own product. Short quotations with a link back to this site are welcome.
Names of public figures discussed in our editorial case studies are used for commentary and analysis. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any person mentioned.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an as-is basis. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reading will meet your expectations. Generated text can be wrong or poorly worded; treat it as a prompt for your own judgement, not as a statement of fact about you or anyone else.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost opportunities or emotional distress.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product or the applicable rules change. The date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will give notice on this site before it applies to a new order. Orders are governed by the version in force when the order was placed.

Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
Account data: an email address and a password hash when you register with email, or the basic profile (email address, display name, avatar) you choose to share when you sign in with Google. We do not ask for a phone number.
Reading data: the birth date you enter, and the reading generated from it. Codes are calculated from that date alone.
Order data: which product you bought, the amount, the currency, the order status and the email used at checkout. Card details are entered on the payment provider's page and are never sent to or stored by us.
Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested path) that our hosting provider records to serve the page and block abuse.
2. How we use it
To create your account and keep you signed in; to generate and deliver the reading you ordered; to process refunds and answer support requests; to detect fraud and abuse; and to meet our tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your birth date or reading content to target advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.
Where we use automated systems — including AI models — to draft report text, the output is labelled as generated content. We do not use your reading to train third-party models beyond what is needed to produce that one request.
3. Where data is stored and how it is protected
Account, session and order records are stored in a managed database operated by our cloud infrastructure provider (Cloudflare, including Cloudflare D1). The site itself is served from the same provider's edge network. Transaction records are also held by our payment provider and merchant-of-record partner.
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS for every request between your browser and our servers. Passwords are never stored in plain text: we keep only a salted, iterated PBKDF2-SHA256 hash. Session tokens are random, stored server-side, expire after 30 days, and are transmitted in an HTTP-only cookie.
Access to production data is limited to the operator account, protected by multi-factor authentication. We keep no local copies of the production database.
Retention: account records are kept while your account is open and for as long as needed to serve you. Order and tax records are kept for the period required by accounting and tax rules. Server logs are kept for a short operational window and then discarded. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
5. Your rights over your data
Access and portability: you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Write to lpz23242324@gmail.com from the email address on the account.
Correction: if your email address or other account details are wrong, you can change them in your account page, or ask us to correct them.
Deletion and account closure: you can ask us to delete your account and the readings attached to it. We will action a verified request within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done. A small number of records (for example paid invoices) must be retained for tax and accounting purposes for the period the law requires; those records stay but are no longer used to serve you.
Objection and restriction: you can ask us to stop a particular use of your data, or to restrict processing while a correction is checked. If the use is based on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time.
Complaints: if you are in the EEA or the UK, you may complain to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.
We respond to rights requests within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm control of the account email before acting, so that one person cannot delete another person's data.
7. Children
The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
8. International transfers
Our infrastructure and payment partners operate globally, so your data may be processed in a country other than the one you live in, including the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves your region, we rely on the providers' standard contractual safeguards for international transfers.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes that affect your rights will be announced on the site before they take effect.
